We are a small but growing team of highly qualified tutors, each exceptionally capable of guiding students to academic success.  Gibson tutors combine a background of academic excellence and subject proficiency with a gift for teaching and personable warmth.

Our team is led by Charles Gibson.  He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1993 with departmental honors in Biology with an emphasis on molecular biology.  During his college years he began tutoring underprivileged children and, since that time, has continually been involved in various education and leadership roles.  He was the director of training for an organization that creates software for academic research, software that is used in universities and seminaries worldwide such as Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Duke, Oxford and Cambridge.  He has been a classroom teacher, written curriculum, and recruited and trained other teachers.  He has also led backpacking expeditions and traveled widely to places like Alaska, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Turkey and Israel, picking up languages along the way.

After several years of experience as an independent tutor with a loyal clientele, Charles decided to recruit and train a team of highly talented tutors who can offer a wide range of subject expertise.  Our team is committed to tutoring at its highest level and cultivating long-term relationships with clients in the St. Louis area.
